This is the second in a new series of one-track releases, exclusive to Bandcamp and Formaviva. This music will not appear on any of the steaming services, or on any other online stores. This track has a little backstory. Made at the same time as those that appeared on Rowka’s “Scansion EP”, which we released in April 2020, Miles and I were mulling the idea of a collaborative EP: two original tracks, plus two remixes by the other artist. We canned those plans because I was never happy with my original track, and I later tore it down completely and turned it into something completely different. I *was* happy with that version, and it was released as “Togetherapart” on Dissonanze Recordings’ compilation “Voices From Isolation I”. However, I recently realised that we’d never done anything with Rowka’s superb remix of that much earlier version — it was still just sitting on my hard drive — so it felt like a very logical candidate for our next exclusive release, and I’m so pleased to finally see it out there.
