TōPū

TōPū (in te reo Maori meaning merge/united) is an improvisation of acoustic and electronic soundscapes that resonates with the performance environment. A fusion of dark/softer and masculine/feminine tones. Afke Riemersma (NZ/NL) and Stefano Messina (IT) merge voice, sampling, percussion, woodwinds, synths and field recordings to create an ever changing journey of sound.
