re|lined is a collective that emerged on the outskirts of Ptuj, Slovenia, when we stumbled upon a small, two-story house that had stood unfinished and untouched for over 20 years with bare bricks, no floors or walls, only electricity functioning. We transformed this raw shell into an intimate venue for up to 100 people, dedicated to underground gatherings built on sound, atmosphere, and connection. The dancefloor was acoustically treated with soundproofing and bass traps, the walls brought to life with decorative graffiti, lights were added to shape the mood, and a chill lounge took form on the upper floor. The space, which we named NC10, became a home and creative outlet for a new wave of local ravers. In 2021, we stepped beyond Ptuj for the first time and organized re|tual, an outdoor gathering in nature near Ljubljana. This project brought together everything we had learned from exploring underground electronic scenes across Europe: the importance of sound quality, music curation, space design, and understanding the energy of the crowd. Today, our focus is on strengthening the Slovenian underground scene, discovering new talent brave enough to challenge the status quo, and fostering the creativity and innovation the scene truly deserves. We want to offer a genuine, homegrown rave experience to those who may never have the chance to travel abroad, an experience that captures the essence of what we all fell in love with. At its heart, re|lined embraces the philosophy of authentic rave culture. It’s not just about beats, lights, outfits, or locations, it's about expression, freedom, movement, presence, connection, and the shared desire to understand both ourselves and others. What happens on the floor is never the product of a single person, it’s a collective movement, shaped by everyone who shows up with intention. That shared creation is what drives us.
