Preview: 04_ARIET_You Are_EP_Deep Questions
We really enjoy discovering original and creative sounds that break away from the music industry norms. Ariet has a distinct approach to crafting music, and we're pleased to host his EP on our label. The journey to creating this EP took a year. Much like Ariet's other musical pieces, they emerge from his dedicated music production sessions, which he regards as a form of meditation. He graciously shared his perspective with us regarding the core idea and his methodology for bringing this EP to life. I quite often sit with the intention to be present with the sound, exploring different possibilities of sound design, rhythms, and arrangement. If in this process I capture something that resonates with me and I can feel it has the potential for a tune, I try to explore the idea and the possibility to tell a story with it. I've chosen Deep Questions as I believe a lot in the power of asking the right questions. Those questions can open something within us, and allow us to think and react differently. So I hope listening to those tunes will evoke some new and meaningful questions. And those answers will influence the listener.
