"For two millennia, people searched in vain for the fabled island, making Atlantis one of the most enduring and fascinating stories of all time. Recent studies show that around 9600 B.C., when Atlantis was above water according to Plato, the modern Cyclades Islands were connected by the Cyclades Plateau, a flat terrain (now 400 feet below sea level) that formed the body of a giant island. When this prehistoric island is compared with Plato's Atlantis, it is immediately clear that this must be the land of which Plato spoke. Cauê’s Cyclades Plateau episode is an attempt to translate into sound the exploration of this land during an astral projection, drawing the vast, watery, and mythological landscapes throughout the EP."
