Placid by Perm, HAL

Confidently channeling harmony, warmth and saturation in his spherical productions, Leipzig resident HAL serves up 4 sizzling forays into pumping dub-techno and proto-trance, each exploring fuzzy cerebral zones.

Both ‘I-295’ and ‘Tau’ push toward early morning dancefloor hypnotism, with opulent chords and pulsing acid undertones. ‘Skopje’ is a gorgeous lighter-footed melodic hybrid, while ‘Kido’ (co-produced by Leipzig local-legend Perm) enters celebratory, transcendent zones as it skips and bounces over 10 time-stretched minutes.
