Our podcast series is returning with the 6th round of improvised live electronic music from our resident h1one. Starting from a generative analogue loop, the Yaoundé born, Berlin based h1 [haɪ̯ns] is driving through an hour of polyrhythmic modular heaviness - a signature sound for the Sonic Ground resident artist. Using self-built equipment, pure modular synthesis and analogue sequencers, h1 takes elements of techno, electro and EBM to create a unique collage of genres that would normally use acoustic samples.
