The album is centered on an imaginary ritual of inward exploration, meant to uncover buried facets of our psyche. Through a solitary ceremony, it reveals our disconnection from ourselves and encourages us to surrender to our shadows, so as to, hopefully, get one step closer to stillness. It begins with a gentle invitation to enter our unconscious, using a language of sound that echoes a long-forgotten collective memory. As the tracks progress, the ritual brings us to deeper layers of our minds. Soundscapes morph and seem increasingly alien, the frontier between known and unknown becomes blurred, while ultimately we are simply brought to face a reflection of our inner selves.
