Ruina P024 | Javier Marimon by Javier Marimon

P024
It's not easy to make dance music feel new but Spanish producer and visual artist, Javier Marimon offers a fresh perspective.
Although, his releases mostly touching ambient and dub techno, for this episode he lays down a selection with unusual textures. Tracks with broken rhythms and an improvisational feel. Tracks that move and shake in unexpected places.
IDM-inflected techno that breaks up the genre's straight-ahead march, which is why his mix is so captivating.
It is worth mentioning that his releases appear on labels such as Oslated, Kizen Records or on a label he runs, Off T.
