In this 47th release, we present Licit, a producer and performer from the UK influenced by the beats of Detroit originators like Jeff Mills and the grooves of Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems. Justin is an expert in fast paced rhythms and bleepy noises and he delivers exactly that in Neural Megastructure and on the second cut, Neural Superstructure. Subversive Optimism changes the discourse a little bit, slowing down the BPM rate and using more shuffled percussive elements.
