We go profound and deep this time with this EP from Marboc. He’s well into the underground scene in his home country Poland, and his music reflects the sound of the parties he promotes and takes part in. Number one Lows is a deep paced hypnotic exercise, with a dark pitched vocals floating over a precise beat. Inside Dimension 01 speeds up the pace, with more percussive elements added in successive layers across the ever rising arrangement. Inside Dimension 04 is another phrenetic exercise, like his predecessor heavily percussive but with a tribal edge, remembering the good old days of the 90’s techno. On Disorientation the rhythms broke, and the tribal feeling is still there, you will wait forever for the kick drum that never appears, that’s the magic of this track. Poison Snake is the last cut again using broken grooves this time with an acid old school feel on the sequences, tradition meeting the future.
