Scottish electronic music producer Sequinoid releases “Proxima”, three unique cosmic compositions that explore the deeper and darker atmosphere of hypnotic Techno. Proxima I kicks things off with polyrhythmic drums and stabs of percussion. Layered airy pads underline the conceptual idea of bringing American 1950’s Sci-Fi into the age of Techno. Proxima II continues in the same vein with filtered bass chords and a glacial almost nostalgic arpeggiator driving the track to completion. Proxima III rounds things off with an almost dubby kick line and submerged percussion.
