FS : PODCAST 082 Vicky Zissou [Berlin / Germany] Berlin-based DJ and producer Vicky Zissou is known for her hypnotic, tribalistic, and deep techno sets. Her sound blends atmospheric, dubby, acid, and raw industrial elements, creating immersive experiences with electric intensity and emotional depth. Originally from Berlin and having made her mark in Stockholm’s underground scene, Vicky has played alongside artists like Abdulla Rashim and Dorisburg. She also co-founded the experimental duo Matilda, known for its complex modular synth work and innovative sound. In addition to her DJ work, Vicky has also produced commissioned music for Epidemic Sound under the aliases VELDA and Varma Ljud. While this work required creating tracks in a range of styles beyond her personal preference, it showcased her versatility and ability to meet diverse musical demands. Now back in Berlin, she continues to evolve her distinct sound.
