Fabrizio Lapiana’s Docta debut opens with Stasi, an incessant yet balanced spectral landscape of crafted mechanical drive contrasted with biotic supranatural undergrowth. The chanting overture gives way to ebullient breaks in East, transducing flow-state abstractions into somatic manifestations against an artifactual backdrop. Alessandro Adriani’s reinterpretation of East descends further through urban alleyways, evoking gritty atmospheres belied by pristine tonal compositions. The final track, Der Kosmonauten, sublimates this image into a pattern of gossamer threads suspended in a pale blue sky.
