Captured Visions launches with their first release - Internal Wave Sequence 1 Internal Wave is an ongoing collaboration between The Vision Reels & Barefoot. The pair have been working closely over the past 5 years or so, collaborating and helping each other with production techniques. Both coming from different methods and approaches, they have found the best of both worlds here on their first EP. Mixing modular synthesis with sample manipulation and a wide range of outboard instruments and gear. Internal Wave Sequence 01 is the first in a series of environment based themes, the first being the ocean. Inspired by their beautiful surroundings in two tiny corners of the South of England, they recorded sounds from the ocean and coastline which formed the foundation for the EP and concept. They then let the inspiration take flow and the result is 4 tracks of subtle, tonal, melodic textures & emotions. Dreams from the eternal & internal deep blue.
