Our podcast series continues, this month’s story is told by Utopian. Southern Spaniard from Jaén, Isidro is a storyteller in favor of deep long journeys. His particular style can be described as the commingling of ambient with incursions into dub and experimental music as well as tribal textures. Today’s session is a landscape of different feelings and textures combining old gems with modern organic sounds. ‘ I always try to make something special and craft something as personal as possible with harmonious and smooth transitions. At the moment, I am obsessed with mixing at 80-90 bpm because I believe you can achieve higher degrees of intensity despite the low speed.
