Up next on Arcing Seas is Magna Pia with his second EP after his 2016 debut “Incantations” on Counterchange. Behind the alias is Hüseyin Evirgen, one half of Cassegrain. ARCS-05 has a clear focus of providing combative dance floor trips, unorthodox sonic moods with subtle 90s techno references. The EP’s track titles “Artemisia”, “Semiramis” and “Akasha” pay tribute to three mighty ancient heroines of very different origins. Consequently, Magna Pia continues his interest in combining techno tracks with archaic symbolism.
